Being real and useful
Everlasting, living memorial
Imortalise a loved one by planting a tree - that's the pitch of a new project of Green for Life Foundation's ongoing tree campaigns. A part of the Tree Safe Zone at Rajerhat's New Town in Kolkata has been earmarked as a memorial park where the trees will be planted.

Kolkata - On April 22, Earth Day, Green for Life Foundation initiated the Memorial Tree plantation campaign at an extension of the site where were have our weekly Tree Maintenance Events (TME) in Rajarhat, New Town, Kolkata. This project gives an opportunity to the people to plant a tree or trees in memory of their loved ones who had passed away. These will represent as living symbol of the individuals and their memories. Besides a memorial for the passed, you could also plant a tree to celebrate your birthday, or the birth of a new family member. Imagine, years hence when theat child visits his "birth tree"!
